Luyan Emfinger, APRN
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Luyan is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who sees individuals across the lifespan, starting at age 5. She received her undergraduate degree in anthropology and biology from Vanderbilt University. She completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. Luyan’s professional career has been in community mental health, both as a counselor and psychiatric nurse practitioner. She enjoys an integrated approach in her practice and believes treating the whole person leads to mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.

Luyan has lived in the Nashville area since 2004. She and her husband, William, live in Nashville with their dog and two cats. They are both big nerds and love all things science and sci-fi. She is also a self-proclaimed “foodie” and loves Nashville’s great culinary scene. In her spare time, Luyan enjoys spending time with her pets, traveling, rock climbing, hiking, being outdoors, cooking, drawing, painting, eating great food and reading. She is excited to become part of the Bella Jace team and to continue to serve the greater Nashville community.
